Re-Invigorate Asian Gardens

ABOUT ASIAN GARDENS

Located at 800 Texas Ave. at Common St. and Milam in Downtown - Shreveport Common, the Asian Gardens is quiet space full of surprising plants, art and at one time lively Asian Festivals. The Gardens were created by the ASEANA Foundation in 2005 and cared for over the last two decades. Recently, the ASEANA nonprofit dissolved and while the City/SPAR still take care of the area quarterly, without the care of volunteers the grounds, beds, art and other amenities have weathered. This is a chance for Shreveport Common with the Shreveport Common Think Tank, City of Shreveport and YOU our community to come together to revitalize the gardens. We hope to unite our community to bring back this important space in ways that educate, inspire, celebrate our diversity and provide fun for ALL!
