“AUDITIONS: YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN!

The Emmett Hook Center is excited to announce auditions for our February 2027 production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown! (Revised version)

Saturday, September 26

2-4 PM

Emmett Hook Center

Ages 18 & up

We are seeking six strong singer-actors with excellent comic timing and the ability to create distinct, memorable characters.

Roles are Charlie Brown, Sally, Lucy, Linus, Schroeder, and Snoopy. All roles are available.

What to prepare:

Please prepare a song of your choosing. Bring sheet music; an accompanist will be provided. Additional vocalizing may be requested at the audition.

No prepared monologue is necessary. You may be asked to do a cold reading from the script.

Can’t attend in person?

Video submissions are welcome and should include a song of your choosing and must be received by noon on September 26. Please email them to producer, Dr. Alison Beck, abeck@firstshreveport.com

Performances are February 19 & 26 @ 7:30pm

and February 20, 21, 27 & 28 @ 3pm

Rehearsals begin January 11 and are expected to run Monday–Friday, 7–10 PM, based on cast availability and production needs. Please be prepared to provide any known rehearsal or performance conflicts at auditions.
