Season 41 – Celebrating Our Centennial!

April, 2025, marks the 32 year anniversary of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s remarkable arrival onto the music scene. “Everyone's favorite benefit drag show is back!

It's time to live, laugh, love as our community of creatures come together to bring you an unforgettable night of drag.

But what is Turnabout? Simply put: It's when our friends and patrons who don't normally do drag or perform, do. And that includes our owner, Jason McDonald aka Porquetta Von Chops, formally known as Tiny Swallows. She always give a stunning show!

It's all in good fun, and it's all for our community. We'll be raising money for three different local organizations including:

THE VAMPIRE COURT OF SHREVEPORT
LOTUS
OUT OF THE CLOSET

This year there will be a $10 suggested donation at the door. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. We really want the community to come out and support this as we are celebrating our 75th year open in downtown Shreveport.

There’s trouble in River City when a fast-talking salesman gets his heart stolen by the town librarian. Meredith Willson’s six-time, Tony Award-winning musical comedy The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef.
