Lilith Fest: The Ultimate '90s Girl Power Drag Show

“We're taking it back to 1997, so dust off those sunflowers, butterfly clips, and flower crowns — it’s time for a night of acoustic anthems, powerhouse ballads, and pure girl-power nostalgia.

For this week's show, we are paying homage to the wonderful women of LILITH FAIR, a first of its kind festival that focused solely on women and women fronted bands. Thank you Sarah McLachlan for making this happen! So make your way to Korner for a fun-filled evening of songs you love, artists you adore and a great time with friends.

February Movie Monday - Paris is Burning

“We’re bringing back a highly requested favorite — MOVIE MONDAY! Beginning in February, grab your friends and join us on Monday nights as we showcase a film or documentary related to the queer experience. If you know of a film you’d like shown, feel free to DM your request!

FOR YOUR VIEWING PLEASURE // xoxo

Feb. 2 | PARIS IS BURNING

This 1990 documentary chronicles the underground ball culture of New York City during the late 1980s. Through intimate interviews and competition footage, it explores how Black and Latinx queer communities created “houses” as chosen families to navigate a world marked by poverty, racism, and the AIDS crisis.

Feb. 9 | SORDID LIVES

Sordid Lives is a 2000 cult classic black comedy that follows three generations of a dysfunctional white trash Texas family as they gather for the funeral of their matriarch, who died in a hilariously scandalous motel room accident. Feb. 9 is also National Pizza Day, so we’ll have some slices for everyone to snack on.

Feb. 16 | THE SONS OF TENNESSEE WILLIAMS

Since it’s Mardi Gras week, we have to know our roots! This 2010 documentary charts the decades-long evolution of gay Mardi Gras in New Orleans, profiling the brave men who founded elaborate “krewes” to celebrate their identity in the face of legal discrimination and social prejudice.

Feb. 23 | MOONLIGHT

Moonlight (2016) follows a young Black man named Chiron as he navigates his identity, sexuality, and the pressures of hyper-masculinity while growing up in a rough Miami neighborhood.

Brad Williams “The Tall Tales Tour ’26”

Brad Williams “The Tall Tales Tour ’26”

Emporium Presents:

“No one is doing stand-up comedy more hilariously than Brad Williams.”- New York Times

Pound for pound, Brad Williams is the funniest comedian in the country right now, and has become one of the most in-demand comedians working today. Williams started doing stand-up comedy as a teenager and has been touring successfully ever since, routinely selling out prestigious venues all over the country and world.
Williams has parlayed his live performances into a multitude of stand-up television appearances, including The Tonight Show, Dave Attell’s Comedy Underground, and Jimmy Kimmel Live. His first one-hour special, Fun Size, was the highest rated special on Showtime, and a year later, he followed that up with his second one, Daddy Issues, which was even more successful than the first. His third special in three years was an uproarious one, hosting some of the edgiest comedians in the country from the prestigious Montreal Just For Laughs Festival. His last groundbreaking special on Netflix, The Degenerates, garnered more huge ratings and rave reviews.
Also an accomplished actor, Williams has appeared on numerous TV shows and feature films, including FX’s Legit, Sam and Cat, Mind of Mencia, Pitboss, a recurring role on the Hulu original show Deadbeat, and memorable roles in a plethora of movies, including Little Evil, produced by Scott Stuber (Ted), as well as the Netflix original Christopher Guest film, Mascots, and most recently Reno 911: It’s A Wonderful Heist.
Recently, Brad became the first stand-up comedian to headline a Cirque de Soleil show in their 30 year history, when he agreed to launch—and do a three month run of—their newest show Mad Apple, at the magnificent 1200 seat New York New York Theater in Las Vegas. The show became an immediate smash hit to rave revues, singling out Williams for his incredible ability to captivate his audiences with his extraordinary performances.
In addition to stand-up and acting, Williams co-created and co-hosted one of the most successful podcasts in the world, with friend and fellow comic Adam Ray, entitled About Last Night, which was always a mainstay on the iTunes charts during their five year run. Additionally, he is also a regular contributor with a series of incredibly funny appearances on several national radio and podcast platforms, including KROQ’s Kevin and Bean Show and The Adam Carolla Show.
Williams’ humorous and inspiring observations on disability, relationships, sex, and race consistently win over audiences; proving anyone can overcome their shortcomings. His high energy live performances frequently produce standing ovations from audience members; which prompted the late Robin Williams to call him “Prozac with a head.”

Season 41: Hadestown

Season 41 – Celebrating Our Centennial!

COME SEE HOW THE WORLD COULD BE.

Welcome to HADESTOWN, where a song can change your fate. Winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards® including Best Musical and the 2020 Grammy® Award for Best Musical Theater Album, this acclaimed new show from celebrated singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell and original director Rachel Chavkin (Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812) is a love story for today… and always.

HADESTOWN intertwines two mythic tales — that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of King Hades and his wife Persephone — as it invites you on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back. Mitchell’s beguiling melodies and Chavkin’s poetic imagination pit industry against nature, doubt against faith, and fear against love. Guided by the wisdom of legendary artist and educator John Biggers, Hudnall’s photographs are rooted in lived experience and deep community connection. From his birthplace in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, to Houston’s historic Third Ward, his images form a rich visual record of culture, place, and generational memory.

Gary Owen: No Hard Feelings Tour

“Gary Owen has been entertaining audiences for more than two decades with his sharp observational humor and fearless storytelling. Known for his unapologetic, rule-defying style, his material draws from his personal life, time in the military and the everyday absurdities that connect people across backgrounds. With a fanbase that has grown by the millions in recent months and continues to surge across social media, Owen’s reach has cemented his place as one of the most in-demand touring comedians today.

Beyond stand-up, Owen has appeared in a wide range of feature films including BACK ON THE STRIP with Tiffany Haddish and Wesley Snipes, MEET THE BLACKS and its sequel THE HOUSE NEXT DOOR, THINK LIKE A MAN and THINK LIKE A MAN TOO, RIDE ALONG with Ice Cube and Kevin Hart, LITTLE MAN opposite the Wayans Brothers, and DADDY DAY CARE with Eddie Murphy. He is also widely recognized for his scene-stealing role as “Bearcat” in the MGM film COLLEGE.

On television, Owen starred in his own BET series THE GARY OWEN SHOW and co-hosted TruTV’s sketch series UPLOAD WITH SHAQUILLE O’NEAL. After meeting Tyler Perry on THE TOM JOYNER MORNING SHOW, he was cast in the recurring role of Zach the barber on the TBS comedy series TYLER PERRY’S HOUSE OF PAYNE.

Owen continues to write, produce and perform his own groundbreaking comedy specials, including BLACK FAMOUS, #DOIN’ WHAT I DO, I GOT MY ASSOCIATES, I AGREE WITH MYSELF, TRUE STORY, URBAN LEGEND, and BREAKIN’ OUT THE PARK. Most recently, he recorded two specials back-to-back—BROKEN FAMILY and GARY OWEN…NO S, released this past spring on YouTube.

In addition to his on-stage and on-screen work, Owen hosts his own podcast, #GETSOME WITH GARY OWEN, and has appeared on numerous others, including FLAGRANT PODCAST, TIGERBELLY, YOUR MOM’S HOUSE with Tom Segura & Christina P., CLUB SHAY SHAY and WE PLAYIN’ SPADES PODCAST with Nick Cannon, among others.

Following a wave of record-breaking, sold-out performances at comedy clubs across the country, he recently announced his first major North American theater tour, NO HARD FEELINGS, which kicks off in early 2026.

Hotel California: The Original Eagles Tribute

“HOTEL CALIFORNIA – The Original Tribute to The Eagles (Canada)

For over three decades now, HOTEL CALIFORNIA has been recreating the legendary sound of THE EAGLES, and thrilling audiences all over the world. The band set the bar in 1986, and they’ve remained the industry leading substitute for The Eagles ever since. Playing to huge outdoor and arena audiences, sharing bills with some of rock’s legends, and going places no tribute band has gone before. A long run by any measure, but it begs the question – what makes HOTEL CALIFORNIA so special? Well, incredible lead vocal similarity, intensely accurate instrumental work, soaring harmonies, and top -flight live performances, just for starters. These are the band’s hallmarks, and the foundation on which their reputation has been built. With over a century of collective professional experience in the band today, they’re still going stronger than ever!

HOTEL CALIFORNIA’s show has evolved into a masterful celebration of The Eagles’ music. One of the most game-changing song catalogs in the history of rock n’ roll is performed to perfection before your eyes and ears. The band also offers tons of value-added promotional support and materials to every client, and the confidence that industry insiders have in them has made HOTEL CALIFORNIA one of the world’s most accomplished tribute productions. You can check them out any time you like, but you’ll never want to leave.

If you love The Eagles, then welcome to the Hotel California – you’ve just found the next-best thing.

Tickets: $74.53, $63.57, $52.61, $41.65 (includes all fees & taxes)”

Season 41: Big Bad Voodoo Daddy

Season 41: Big Bad Voodoo Daddy

Season 41 – Celebrating Our Centennial!

April, 2025, marks the 32 year anniversary of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s remarkable arrival onto the music scene. Since its formation in the early nineties in Ventura, California, the band has toured virtually nonstop, performing on average over 150 shows a year, and has produced a sizable catalog of recorded music, with sales of over 2 million albums to date. Early on, during their legendary residency at the Derby nightclub in Los Angeles, they reminded the world, in the midst of the grunge era no less, that it was still cool to swing. The band, co-founded by singer Scotty Morris and drummer Kurt Sodergren, was at the forefront of the swing revival of that time, blending a vibrant fusion of the classic American sounds of jazz, swing, and dixieland, with the energy and spirit of contemporary culture.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s efforts to promote and revitalize swing music have taken shape as much more than a simple tribute. Taking inspiration from the creators of this uniquely American art form, the band’s original horn-infused music and legendary high energy show introduces the genre to a new and younger generation while remaining cognizant and respectful of the music’s rich legacy.

Season 41: Music Man

Season 41 – Celebrating Our Centennial!

There’s trouble in River City when a fast-talking salesman gets his heart stolen by the town librarian. Meredith Willson’s six-time, Tony Award-winning musical comedy The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain’s fall.  Featuring songs such as “Seventy-Six Trombones”, “Trouble”, “‘Til There Was You”, “Pickalittle” and “Gary, Indiana”, The Music Man is a family-friendly story to be shared with every generation.

“A joyous, blissful Broadway event!”
