“Join us for our weekly #MovieMonday as we showcase the 2015 feature-length documentary, Upstairs Inferno, as part of our Pride Month showcase.

Directed by Robert L. Camina and narrated by author Christopher Rice, Upstairs Inferno uncovers the tragic 1973 arson attack at the UpStairs Lounge, a gay bar and Metropolitan Community Church sanctuary in New Orleans. The fire resulted in the deaths of 32 people, making it the largest mass murder of LGBTQ+ individuals in U.S. history at the time.
